Release status: Gintli Erda 3D is not yet publicly released. This notice describes the current planned data processing and will be reviewed before release.
This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed when you use GIS 3D Pro. Deutsche Version. The separate website privacy policy applies when you visit gintli.com or support.gintli.com.
1. Controller
The controller and developer is Gellert Gintli, a private individual, Holzhof 12, 38667 Bad Harzburg, Germany. “Gintli Studios” is the project name used for the websites and apps; it is not a company or separate legal entity. Email: support@gintli.com.
2. Data processed in GIS 3D Pro
Imported files and project data
GIS 3D Pro lets you import, organize, inspect, and validate USD, USDA, and USDZ files. Imported files, validation results, project information, and related settings are processed on your device. Gintli Studios does not operate a GIS 3D Pro account service or file-processing backend and cannot access your imported files or project data.
Optional private iCloud synchronization
You may enable or disable synchronization through your private Apple iCloud account. When enabled, Apple processes synchronized project data as part of your iCloud service so that it is available on your devices. Gintli Studios does not receive or have access to your private iCloud content.
Optional Apple diagnostics
If you enable Apple’s option to share analytics with app developers, Apple may make crash and diagnostic reports available to Gellert Gintli. These reports may include the device model, operating-system and app versions, and technical crash information. Imported model contents, project files, and validation results are not intentionally included. GIS 3D Pro does not use advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. You can change diagnostic sharing in your Apple device settings.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing local file inspection, project management, validation, and optional iCloud synchronization: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Improving stability using diagnostics voluntarily shared through Apple: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is providing a secure and reliable application; you can stop future sharing in your Apple settings.
4. Recipients and international transfers
Apple operates iCloud and the App Store and, where enabled by you, supplies diagnostic reports. Apple may process data outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Gintli Studios does not sell app data and does not provide imported files, project data, or validation results to advertisers or data brokers.
5. Retention and deletion
Imported files and project data remain on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud until you delete them. Deleting the app from one device may not by itself delete synchronized iCloud data; manage that data through the app and your iCloud settings.
Apple retains diagnostic information according to its own policies and your device settings. Diagnostic reports made available to the developer are retained only as long as needed to investigate failures and improve stability, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Support emails are normally deleted within three months after the request is resolved unless legal or contractual retention duties require longer storage.
6. Support communications
When you email support@gintli.com, we process your email address, message, and related technical metadata through our email provider STRATO to answer your request. Please do not attach confidential model files unless specifically requested through an agreed secure channel. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related requests and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other support and security requests.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. Because Gintli Studios cannot access information stored only on your device or in your private iCloud, those records must be managed using the app or Apple account controls. For diagnostics available to the developer, support correspondence, or other data held by us, contact support@gintli.com.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the authority for your place of residence or the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.
8. Changes
This notice will be reviewed before GIS 3D Pro is released and updated whenever its data processing changes. The current version and revision date will remain available at this URL.
