This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed when you use the ContractoAI application. Deutsche Version. The separate website privacy policy applies when you visit gintli.com or support.gintli.com.
1. Controller
The controller and developer is Gellert Gintli, a private individual, Holzhof 12, 38667 Bad Harzburg, Germany. “Gintli Studios” is the project name used for the websites and apps; it is not a company or separate legal entity. Email: support@gintli.com.
2. Data processed in ContractoAI
Contract and partner information
You can enter contract titles and numbers, contract owners, partner names and email addresses, notes, dates, status and termination information, payment intervals, amounts, currencies, payment methods, and payment status. This information may relate to you or to people and organizations with whom you have a contractual relationship.
On-device storage
ContractoAI stores app content locally on your device. Calculations, dashboards, search, and the FinE Engine operate on the device. Gintli Studios does not operate a ContractoAI account service or backend and cannot access your contract, partner, note, or financial data. ContractoAI does not send this content to an external artificial-intelligence provider.
Optional private iCloud synchronization
You may enable or disable synchronization through your private Apple iCloud account. When enabled, Apple processes the synchronized data as part of your iCloud service so that it is available on your devices. Gintli Studios does not receive or have access to your private iCloud content.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
ContractoAI does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs. Apple independently processes App Store activity and any device diagnostics you choose to share under your Apple account and device settings. App content is not included intentionally in those services.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the app functions requested by you, including storage, synchronization, search, calculations, and dashboards: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Maintaining the security and reliability of the app and responding to support requests: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is providing a secure and dependable service.
4. Recipients and international transfers
If you enable iCloud synchronization, Apple is the recipient of synchronized data as part of the iCloud service associated with your Apple account. Apple also operates the App Store. Apple may process data outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Gintli Studios does not sell app data and does not provide contract or financial information to advertisers, data brokers, or external AI providers.
5. Retention and deletion
App content remains on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud until you delete it. Use the app’s deletion controls, including permanent removal from any quarantine or recovery area where available. Deleting the app from one device may not by itself delete synchronized iCloud data; manage that data through the app and your iCloud settings.
Support emails are normally deleted within three months after the request is resolved unless legal or contractual retention duties require longer storage.
6. Support communications
When you email support@gintli.com, we process your email address, message, and related technical metadata through our email provider STRATO to answer your request. Please do not send complete contracts or unnecessary sensitive information. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related requests and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other support and security requests.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. Because Gintli Studios cannot access information stored only on your device or in your private iCloud, those records must be managed using the app or Apple account controls. For support correspondence or other data held by us, contact support@gintli.com.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the authority for your place of residence or the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.
8. Children
ContractoAI is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal data from children through an account or advertising service.
9. Changes
We will update this notice when ContractoAI’s data processing changes. The current version and its revision date will remain available at this URL.
